I am Sandy Shofner, managing broker and owner of this terrific office. I moved to Fort Nelson in 1984 as a teen and completed grade 12 right here at FNSS. After moving away for a brief 2 years, I came back home to stay. I feel fortunate to be able to raise my family in this very friendly northern town.
I was licensed in 1995 and have enjoyed an amazing career helping great people buy and sell homes as well as commercial properties. This office became a reality in 2004 and has been a truly incredible adventure. This team is amazing!
When I’m not working, my new love is hunting with my guy and sometimes our kids and snowmobiling- mountain riding! We travel to Revelstoke, Valemont and Haines. We love to travel when possible and generally love the outdoors!
I am one of the rare and truly fortunate people who live my passion every day at work and at play!

I am Lashell Skage, my husband and I moved to Fort Nelson from Alberta in 2003 and I have been practicing Real Estate since 2005. I must say I knew within 3 months we were here to stay. Fort Nelson is truly an awesome town to call home. I love to work with people just moving into the area as I can appreciate what a move to a Northern Community can entail. I am very dedicated to all my clients, as I am trying to take the stress out of the Real Estate process whether my client is buying or selling.

I am Jim Hart, my family and I moved to Fort Nelson from Fort St. John in 1984. Previously we lived on the Queen Charlotte Islands, in Telkwa, Lillooet, Merrit, Chase, Kelowna and the lower mainland, all in BC. Family includes wife Mary Ann of 43 years, sons Andy and Clint, and daughter Sandy (Shofner).
Over the years I have had several jobs including swamper on a garbage truck, building trucks for Canadian Kenworth, bank accountant, fire chief of the Queen Charlotte City Volunteer Fire Department and commercial prawn fisherman with my own boat. I have worked mainly in natural resource law enforcement with several provincial and federal agencies - the last as District Conservation Officer at Fort Nelson since 1984. Most recently I have been contract flying using my own aircraft, doing telemetry work tracking radio tagged fish and wildlife including walleye, bull trout, inconnu, caribou, elk, wolves and black bears.
Mary Ann and Sandy (owner broker of RE/MAX Best Results Realty) said I was not staying busy enough and convinced me that I should get into real estate. I attended the first Commercial Trading Services Applied Practice Course at UBC (University of British Columbia), Vancouver and have since specialized in commercial real estate. In addition to commercial properties I am also interested in acreages, guiding territories, trap lines and remote cabins.
